CMSE 2023 has been held successfully during October 27-30, 2023 in Shenzhen, China. The conference is organized by Macao Association of Convention, Exhibition & Tourism Sectors and co-organized by Peking University Shenzhen Institute. Over 70 on-site and online participants from 14 countries and regions have joined the conference and shared their latest research findings & state-of-art technologies on material science and engineering.
Dr. Liyuan Sheng, the conference Local Committee Chair, from Peking University Shenzhen Institute delivered the welcoming speech to greet attendees from around the world.
Four renowned professors have delivered their impressive keynote speeches on rare earth (RE) doped oxide films, 3D stitching technology for composite repair and sandwich structures, nanostructured materials for Li-ion batteries and phase transformations in explosively welded metallic materials, respectively.
Prof. Qixin Guo from Saga University (Japan) has delivered his keynote speech on “Full Color Light Emitting Diodes Based on Rare Earth Doped Oxide Films”.
Prof. Zhongwei Guan, Executive Director of Advanced Materials Research Centre of Technology Innovation Institute (UAE), has shared his keynote speech on “3D Stitching Technology for Composite Repair and Fully Integrated Sandwich Structures”.
Dr. Zhaolin Liu, Principal Scientist of Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE), A*STAR (Singapore) has given the keynote speech on “Nanostructured Materials for Next Generation Li-ion Batteries, Metal-air Batteries and Fuel Cells”.
Prof. Henryk Paul from Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science, Polish Academy of Sciences (Poland) has delivered his keynote speeches on “Phase Transformations in Explosively Welded Metallic Materials”.These inspiring speeches have attracted heated discussions among the researchers and scholars.
23 Posters were displayed with fruitful results and TWO best poster was selected by the judges.
36 invited & oral presentations were delivered in three parallel sessions with informative and enlightening outcomes on materials science and engineering fields.
The conference has established an effective platform for national and international scientists, researchers and engineers from academia and industry to exchange the latest research results, share the advanced technologies and build collaborations in materials science field.
